Standard terms governing platform usage, professional listings, clinical community discussions, and doctor-patient lead routing.

Effective Date: October 01, 2026
Version 4.0 β€’ Applicable to All Users & Practitioners

1. Acceptance of Terms & Platform Role

By browsing, registering an account, listing a clinic or botanical product, or submitting inquiries on YouAyurveda ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, you must refrain from using the platform.

Intermediary Status: YouAyurveda operates as an electronic intermediary under Section 2(1)(w) and Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. We connect health-seekers with independent licensed practitioners, verified clinics, herbal suppliers, and educational content.

2. Practitioner Qualifications & Anti-Quackery Covenant

All Ayurvedic doctors listing on YouAyurveda must hold recognized professional qualifications and adhere strictly to medical ethics:

  • Recognized Degrees: Practitioners must hold a recognized BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, or MD (Ayurveda) degree granted by an institution recognized by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) or erstwhile Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM).
  • Valid State / Central Registration: Practitioners must maintain an active registration with their respective State Ayurvedic Council or the Central Register of Indian Medicine.
  • Zero Quackery Tolerance: Any practitioner discovered practicing without legitimate registration or cross-practicing outside their statutory scope will be permanently removed, with their account frozen and reported to relevant regulatory authorities.

3. Patient Inquiries, Lead Credits & Payments

A. Lead Routing & Patient Inquiries

Patient consultation inquiries routed through YouAyurveda represent genuine patient consent for clinical follow-up. Practitioners agree to handle all routed patient data with strict doctor-patient confidentiality. Unsolicited marketing, spamming, or sharing leads with third parties is strictly prohibited.

B. Credit Wallet & Statutory Tax Invoices

Credit pack purchases are billed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to statutory Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 18% (SAC 9983). Tax invoices conforming to Section 31 of the CGST Act are automatically generated and made available in the practitioner’s invoice repository.

C. Refund & Credit Expiry Policy

Purchased lead credits are non-refundable once successfully credited to the practitioner's balance. In the event of a verified technical transmission failure (e.g. duplicate deduction), credit balance will be restored upon review by support.

4. Intellectual Property & Editorial Submissions

Practitioners who publish medical articles or community answers grant YouAyurveda a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to host, index, display, and distribute the content across our digital ecosystem, with full clinical attribution to the authoring physician. Authors warrant that their content is original and does not violate third-party copyrights.

5. Reviews & Community Standards

Patient reviews must reflect bona fide consultation experiences. We prohibit:

  • Self-reviews, fake positive testimonials, or competitor disparagement.
  • Defamatory, abusive, obscene, or racially offensive remarks.
  • Disclosing private medical records or prescription photographs without patient authorization.

⚠️ Limitation of Liability & Medical Disclaimer

YouAyurveda is not a hospital, clinic, or medical treatment provider. We do not prescribe treatments, diagnose conditions, or practice medicine. The medical opinions expressed by doctors in the Q&A forum or articles are the sole clinical responsibility of the respective licensed physician.

In no event shall YouAyurveda, its directors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, punitive, or consequential damages arising from medical treatments, herbal formulation consumption, or missed clinical appointments.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal dispute or claim shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi, India, after attempting good-faith mediation for 30 calendar days.
